December Album

by Paper House
Hello! Samantha here with you. Today I’d like to share a little bit about how I memory keep (aka scrapbook) for the busy month of December and show you a few of my pages in progress.

Supplies: Christmas Joy Craft Set, Christmas Joy Puffy Sticker, Peace Love Home Double Sided Paper, Home for Christmas Tags Double Sided Paper

I put everything that happens into December into a mini pocket page style album. If you’re a flat scrapbooker, journey or travelers notebooks work well, but if you’re like me and like to use lots of 3D stickers and lumpy bumpy embellishments, a thicker binder style book works better.

I always start by creating my cover. This year I’m feeling a bit sentimental, and the glittery house on the Home for Christmas Tags Double Sided Paper had me feeling all warm and fuzzy, so I built my cover around that .

Everything that happens in December, all the pictures I take, go into the December album for that year. Sometimes the photos are festive and Christmas themed and sometimes they are just regular life things.
Because December is so busy and filled with fun events and memories, this style of printing photos, adding a journaling tag, and popping on a few fun stickers works really well for me. It’s fast, utilizes a lot of the fun Christmas stickers and embellishments that Paper House has to offer, and helps me get my memories down on paper while they’re still fresh in my mind.

All of these mini December albums get put on a shelf in the living room when we put out our Christmas decor. It’s so fun to look through them throughout the month and see all of our holiday memories and traditions.
