Australia Circle Layout - Michelle McClure

G'day mates! This afternoon we're featuring a really unique layout by design team member Michelle McClure. Michelle used our new Australia Collection to create this piece, layering pieces from the cardstock stickers onto a background of the Ayers Rock paper. Michelle says about this layout:

"A circular layout is an interesting variation to the usual square. A great way to frame this shape is to use a collector's plate frame. To make your layout stand out even more, cut it smaller than the frame and float it inside."

We love how floating her project inside the frame really draws your eyes right to the center! Michelle said she found this frame while touring her local thrift store - second-hand shops are one of the best places to find pieces to alter!

The details in MIchelle's projects are always amazing! From the stitching and wood shapes, to the brads and sequins, we're amazed by her attention to the little things. Running the embellishments all the way around the border really creates interest all the way around the project, too. Visit her blog today to get a full run-down of how she made this project, complete with instructions!
