Design Team member Michelle McClure sent in such an awesome project this month, we couldn't wait to share it! Michelle made customized iPhone cases by using a clear plastic case (you can get the one she used here) and scrapping inserts to put inside. It's a great way to get a personalized phone case that no one will have one like! Also, wouldn't this make such a great holiday gift for the person on your list who has everything?
Michelle noted that she approached this project as she would a mini album: because each "page" had a limited amount of space, she didn't want to make them too busy or cluttered. To create a template for her inserts, Michelle made a frame with a camera hole on kraft cardstock and used it to cut her bases. You could also create the shape you need with design software for an electric diecutting machine, and then there's no limit to the amount of inserts you could create!
In these inserts, Michelle combined elements from several of our themes to make cute and unique layouts! We spy patterns from our American Road Paper Pad, Sweet Birthday Girl Stickers and paper, the Artist Paper Pad, and our He Loves Me Sticker. It would also be fun to make some holiday cases for Christmas! Which of your favorite Paper House themes would you use?
