Have you seen our new 3D scenes? They're out of this world (or, depending on the theme you choose, definitely in this world!) With 8 beautiful destinations to choose from, you can explore romantic Paris, the hustle and bustle of New York City, or relax on a tropical beach.

Our scenes have all the great qualities of our 3D stickers, but with even more intricate detail on each large embellishment, making it super impressive! There's incredible depth and layering, with up to 7 layers on each scene. Not only are they perfect for scrapbooking and card making, they make a great accent to home decor projects. Just check out the frame we made below!

To make one yourself, just find a frame for a 5x7" photo that has some extra space or a sentiment to the side (ours had a sentiment that we just covered up.) Place your photo inside the frame, remove the 3D scene from the packaging, and simply press lightly to adhere the scene to the frame. It's that easy - no glue required - and you have a lovely, 3D piece of home decor that looks like it took hours to make!

Well, our last Make & Take of the show has come and gone. But we're still excited to share the instructions for it though! Today we made a 100% Country Home Decor Plaque using our (you guessed it!) 100% Country Collection.

Such an easy project to make, but it looks so impressive! We love off-the-page ideas, especially projects we can use to decorate our homes and office. This would make a great gift for the "All-Things-Western Lover" in your life, but it's so fun you might just want to keep it for yourself. Our 100% Country 3D Sticker really pops off the project, and there's even space for a photo of your own (just cover up the cowboy pictured here.)

Download the instructions and make it for yourself here.

It was really wonderful to see everyone at the show this year and get a chance to talk with you and craft with you! We'll still be here at the show tomorrow in Booth #853, so stop by and see us and place your order if you haven't yet. Hope everyone is having a great show!

Phew! Well Day Two of CHA was awesome! We had a blast making these adorable little Thanks a Bunch Planters as our Make & Take today. They were super easy and (of course) super cute! And what a great and untraditional way to say thanks!

This Make & Take was based off a project created by one of our fabulous designers, Linda Auclair. She made a larger, beautiful flower planter (shown below) and a Garden layout using our new Floral 3D stickers that we just loved so much, we adapted for the show!

Along with the Gerbera Daisy 3D Stickers that we used on the Make & Take today, our new Floral Collection includes two more 3D stickers - Pansies and Oxeye Daisies - and 4 gorgeous garden papers. They're great for summertime scrapbooking, or use them on any project that needs some extra "pretty!"

Download the instructions for the Make & Take here.

Don't forget to stop by our booth tomorrow for our big Give-away. You get an entry with each Make & Take you make, and the grand prize is a $500 Paper House Shopping Spree! Whoo hoo!
Christmas Shadow Box

I was at a craft store the other day and they had shadow boxes on sale. I happen to love shadow boxes because they not only make great, professional looking gifts- but the possibilites of what you can do with them is endless!

So I decided, why not make a new Christmas decoration for my livingroom. This is more of a shelf decoration than a hanging one. Mostly due to the light cords and battery pack.

DIY CHRISTMAS SHADOW BOX

You will need:

Paper House Christmas craft paper

Paper House "Let it Snow" Glitter rub ons

1 white shadow box-any size you'd like- I used a 9" x 11"

1 pack of mini battery operated twinkling lights- many mass-market retailers sell these

power drill with a 1/8 drill bit

scissors

Glue (optional)

1. Start by cutting the scrapbook paper to the size of the glass (not the back of the frame, it will be too small)

2. Figure out where you'd like the lights to shine. For example, on mine I only wanted the trees to light up.

3. To mark where I wanted the holes for the lights, I just removed the frame-backing, laid the paper on it and lifted it up to mark where I wanted them ( basically just estimated).

4. Drill your holes into the backing.

5. Place the lights to shine through the back - the battery pack will also stay outside of the frame. Set aside the backing with the lights.

6. Now it's time to add a little sparkle! Take your glitter rub-ons and place them wherever you'd like on the paper. I chose the "let it snow" sticker and some bigger snowflakes to add my glitz.

7. I also wanted to add the same pretty touch to the frame- so I chose the little snowflakes for each corner and 3 down each side.

The last one on the right shows how I cut out the snowflake before I pressed it on.

8. There should be a piece inside your shadow box that holds the glass inside- remove that piece, and place your paper up against the glass- then replace the holder piece ( you can place glue dots in the corners of the back of of the paper, to make sure it stays in place, but you don't have to).

9. Replace the frame backing and turn it on!

10. Say "ooo" and "ahh" (also optional, but I did it).

{bliss} My life, scrapbooking, and everything…

I was asked to create some 3-D altered projects for Paper House Productions to celebrate the release of their new 3-D themed sticker line at CHA-W, and was quite pleased with the projects I completed. Most crafters are familiar with Paper House for their photorealistic stickers and papers, and stationery items like cards, magnets, puzzles and more! You can see all their scrapbooking collections, including the brand new 3-D stickers on their website.

For their “World Traveler” collection, I started with a red thrift store Polaroid camera, and added patterned papers & stickers to create a fun display piece that will be on display in their booth (#1257) at the CHA show in Anaheim, CA next week!

I created some fun faux-Polaroid photos with their stickers too!

For their “Fishing” themed collection, I created this cute little shadowbox featuring a variety of their new 3-D stickers, rub-ons, and diecuts.

I also altered a vintage toolbox to create this “tackle box” for their display!

Their “Travel:Paris” was so much fun, and I love, love, love the new 3-D Eiffel Tower sticker that coordinates with the rest of the collection!

I rocked out my friend Heather Binnie‘s fab photos of scenic Arizona for their “Travel: Arizona” collection, and want to thank her bunches for allowing me to use them for this display-board layout! ((I rocked out the fibers on my tag too – I had forgotten how much I loved them!))

The last collection that I worked with was their “Hunting” themed collection, and I designed a pair of decorative plaques using their papers, stickers, rub ons and new 3-D stickers for their display boards at the show.

If you’re going to be in Anaheim for the store, stop by Booth # 1257 and say “hi”! Tell ‘em Linda sent you! :)

Have a great day!
