Hello everyone, Laura here! Welcome to more inspiration for Colorways week!!  I’ve got a fun fold card to share with you today using the gorgeous Paper House Gatsby collection:

This card was created using this template I’ve drawn up:

When you undo the Velcro closure, here is the inside:

sparkle3

I’ve used one of the Colorways Orchid collection rub-ons as the sentiment.  Love the way these go on so smoothly….even over textured cardstock!

There is a secret pocket in this card:

sparkle4

It holds this tag/bookmark made with one of the Gatsby journal cards, and puffy stickers:

This tag could also hold a gift card if you choose.

I've made a instructional video too! Check it out here!

Thanks for stoppin’ by today!  Stop back soon for more inspiration!

Christmas Elves

Posted on Dec 29, 2015 9:06:44 AM

Hello Paper House Lovelies!

Welcome to ColorWays week!

It's Karyn here today sharing a scrapbook page I made using lots of goodies from the ColorWays Gatsby collection. I love the glitz and sparkle from this collection - just perfect for Christmas projects!

This photo was taken on Christmas Eve last year with our two elves :)

elves1

I started my page by using a star stencil and some gold paste. Once this had properly dried (overnight is best) I backed this with a sheet of paper from the Gatsby Paper Pack.

elves2

In the top corner I added a punched paper piece (also from the Gatsby Paper Pack) a circle accent from the Gatsby Accent Pack and puffy stickers from the Merry and Bright Sculpted sticker pack, as well as some gold alphas (from my stash) for the title.

elves3

Under the photo I layered some paper from the Gatsby Paper Pack and elements from the Gatsby Accent Pack. I love the "glitter sparkle shine" element!! The wire, flowers and reindeer angel are from my stash.

elves4

I also added some white star puffy stickers from the Merry and Bright Sculpted sticker - I love this shape!

Then I finished it off with some handwritten journaling about our elves!

elves5

I've loved using these ColorWays Gatsby products, perfect for Christmas!

Happy Crafting

Wedding Memories

Posted on Dec 24, 2015 9:00:00 AM

Hello all, Irit here! Lately, the only layouts I make are my dear daughter's wedding ones. I just made six of them... the photos are great and need to be scrapped. So today, I am going to share two more layouts made with those wedding photos and ColorWays' new colors. The first one was made with the Orchid Collection, and I made the mixed media background over the patterned paper with some stamps, stencils, and homemade mists.

Orchid1

First, I made the arrows with white Gelato and then made pink and blue homemade mists using Gelatos and FC tools (mist bottles). Then, I made stamped circles, added some Love words inside, and colored them with Gelatos again.

orchid3

This is a fine example of making a mixed media background over a patterned dark paper. As you can see, the results can be unusual and pretty.

Product Used:

Paper House Orchid ColorWays "Lanterns"

Paper House Orchid ColorWays "Dark Bokeh"

Paper House Orchid ColorWays Accent Pack

Paper House Adore Puffy Stickers

Stencils - ArtPlorations

Paints - Gelatos from FC DMC

Stamps - StampPlorations

Ink - Clearsnap

Embossing powder - Clearsnap

The second wedding layout is made with the Gatsby Collection, and, again, I decided to "remake" the background by adding some stenciled circles using clear molding paste with glitter all over it. I used one big color photo and three more black and white wedding photos to make the photo cluster, and I made a big embellishment with a title cluster on the top of the page.

I think this ColorWays Collection is just perfect for wedding photos! I will add more of those to my daughter's wedding album in the near future.

Adventure

Hello! Francesca here!

Today I want to show you my new layout! I used the papers from the new ColorWays Gatsby Collection and followed a sketch from PageMaps. This gold and yellow collection is great; it can be sophisticated and cheerful at the same time!

I like to reinterpret the sketch; I think it's an intriguing challenge, and so I used my beloved embossing paste and two stencils to create a background. Then I added some diecuts on the left side of the picture and a rub-on over the tab. It's simple, but it lets the colors speak for themselves; they really add a lot of fun!

Sparkle

Hello everyone, Erin here!

My husband had a formal military dinner to attend, and to me, that is just a fun night to dress up and look pretty! I decided to go out and get my hair done (which I never do), do some glam makeup (which I never wear), paint my nails, and wear high heels (which I never wear). Since I was all glammed up, I decided to take my phone outside and get some selfies, pretty much so I could make a layout about me!

The Gatsby ColorWays Collection was just perfect for my glamorous pictures. I kept with the black, white, and gold colors because the Pagemaps sketch had a lot going on already, and I did not want the page to take away from the point of the layout: the pictures.

Best Ever

Hello everyone, Brenshevia here with another project using the fabulous ColorWays Gatsby Collection. This week we are teaming up with PageMaps to bring you some great projects! For this project, I used photos taken of me and the grandchildren this summer. I converted them to sepia because I thought it would be better with these papers. I used the orange butterfly just to give it a POP of color.

NYC Glamour

Hi everyone, Erin here! A friend of mine's daughters went to NYC for the first time to see shows, eat, and have fun. Here they are in Times Square loving that they are there!

NYC- Erin Reed

Paper House just came out with these amazing collections: the New York City Paper Crafting Kit and the ColorWays Gatsby Collection. The papers blended so well, I even added in some paper and embellishments from the ColorWays Noir Collection to finish it off. These collections are just perfect for a couple of girls in the Big Apple!

I love the feel of dimension, even though this layout is completely flat, created by adding in layers of papers with different colors or designs. Here are some close-up shots of the layout.
