Perfect Puffy Stickers

Posted on Nov 10, 2015 10:19:15 AM

Hi there, Karen here today to share some holiday inspiration featuring Paper House Puffy Stickers. They have such beautiful texture and are light and spongy, yet detailed. The new range of Christmas Puffy Stickers have the perfect embellishments to use for some holiday cards, whether you prefer cute or traditional styles. I especially love the large title puffy stickers, as they are great for scrapbooking layouts, too. Friends that receive your cards this year won't want to take down their displays once the holidays are over! Visit Paper House to see their whole beautiful range of coordinating Christmas papers and embellishments.

Sticker Reward Chart!

Posted on May 6, 2015 9:18:42 AM

Hello everyone, Erin here. I did something a bit different this time: an award chart for my kids. I have made so many paper ones (printed, made by hand, or just throwing stickers on a paper) for earning things to try to eliminate bad behaviors (hitting, acting up at school, not getting along with siblings) or try to instill good behavior (potty training, good days at school, etc.), and I hate to create a new one each time. So now I have created one where all I do is change up the name, goal, and prize for reaching the goal. I used tons of fun stickers from Paper House, including various Puffy Stickers (Sports, Frogs, Penguins, Cars, Dinosaurs), and also some fun SnapShots™ Stickers, including Football, Soccer, Basketball, Dogs, and Kitties. I turned them into magnets (the blue is a magnetic board from the dollar store) and used bright colors that my kids picked out. They are already so excited over them, dying to pick out the next magnet for their reward!

I used the Xyron Creative Station with the magnetic 5" insert to make the SnapShots™ into magnets. I pulled off the adhesive on the back of each sticker and ran them through the machine. I then cut each image out, and boom, they were magnets!

I had a ton of leftover magnetic pieces from cutting out the SnapShots™, and I did not want to waste them, so I cut them up and fit them on the back of the various Puffy Stickers, letting the sticker be the adhesive to the magnetic laminate front, and voilà, more magnets!

I then created little boxes out of colored cardstock to act as holders for the extra magnets and laminated them with the Creative Station 9" laminate cartridge so they would be sturdier. I then added the goal, reward, and participant to the front of the boxes with spiral clips.

I glued the magnetic board inside the large box (upcycled from a paper kit I received as a present years ago), popped a sticker title at the top, and added some fun washi tape around the edges of everything!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's "Owl-trageous!"

Posted on Apr 8, 2014 3:25:12 PM

We here at Paper House got a real “hoot” out of Bev's new Owl layout. Using our Owl - Hoot Collection, Bev Code was able to create a sense of whimsy and an overall cuteness overload! The background uses our Lovable Owls 12" Scrapbook Paper and is embellished with our 3D stickers, puffy stickers, along with glitter and other embellishments.

Owls Layout - Bev Code

Not only did Bev use our Lovable Owls paper as the background, but she used a second sheet to cut out some of the owls and pop-dot them to give them extra emphasis and dimension. Her use of sparkle on the edges of the wings and behind the photo really bring the whole layout together. The greatest part about our collections is that they work seamlessly together! The 3D stickers tuck in right next to puffy stickers which match the paper! Is this an easy way to coordinate or what?!
