Gorgeous Gift Tags

Posted on Dec 10, 2015 8:56:02 AM

Hi there, Karen here today to share some little tag-shaped cards. Actually, they are the perfect size to be used as a gift card holder. The ColorWays line coordinates so easily that when you are using a sketch, they come together in no time at all. Keep this gem of an idea in your back pocket just in case you need that last minute holiday gift.

1. Follow the tag sketch by Scrapbook Generation in CREATE Magazine (Debbie Sanders - September 2015)

2. Cut a piece of cardstock for the tag base and select two coordinating papers for the circle and bunting shape.

3. Next, arrange the sentiment and embellish the tag with puffy stickers, diecut shapes, gems, etc.

4. Finally, punch a hole through the center of the top of the tag. Add a bow or tie a piece of ribbon through the hole.

TIP: Use design sketches for inspiration, but don't feel restricted to follow them exactly. For the black tag, I reversed the sketch. My placement of embellishments was also different from the sketch because the sentiment took up more space. Some elements of the design you may choose to completely leave off. Use the sketch as a guide but let your creativity flow to make it your own creation.

Super Cute Dachshund Tag!

Posted on Mar 10, 2015 9:00:00 PM

Hello, girls! Francesca here today! I want to show you a cute and fast project with Cork’d™ stickers. It’s a little tag with my favourite dog, the dachshund!

Dachsund Tag- Francesca Biancon

It’s really easy to do. I used only Kraft paper and a piece of raw fabric as the tag base.

Tagging Along

Posted on Dec 5, 2014 8:32:16 PM

Since December is definitely a month for gift-giving, we wanted to share some more wonderful tags with you! While Christmas is at the top of everyone's minds, don't forget... some people have birthdays in December, too! We love these bright and colorful tags that design team member Irit created - they'd be perfect on a birthday gift, a Hanukkah present, or giving someone special a little something, just because!

Irit Shalom - So Pretty Tag

Irit combined some of the fun & colorful patterns from our Hipster Paper Pad with pieces from a few different designs of our 3D stickers! The best part is how well they all go together, even while they're from totally different sets! We love Irit's mixed media details on this tag too - the ribbons, paint and gesso really make this tag awesome!

Irit Shalom - Artist 3D Tag

Irit also used her creativity to craft this Artist gift tag. Making a themed tag is really a great way to personalize a gift, and this would be perfect for any budding (or experienced) artist! And the details, layering and texture on this tag are amazing! Our Artist Collection and Artist Paper Pad (plus a few embellishments and a little imagination!) are all Irit need to make this beautiful project!

If you're inspired by these gorgeous gift tags, then just pop on over to Irit's blog to see more!
