Love

Posted on Dec 23, 2015 9:00:00 AM

Hello, crafty friends, Giorgia here.

Some of the Paper House products that I love the most are the ColorWays Collections: stunning monochromatic papers, all double-sided and on a heavyweight stock. Each sheet is a perfect combination of beautiful photography and an artfully designed pattern on the reverse. There are also great accents and embellishments: rub-ons, puffy stickers, and an accent pack.

They are the perfect choice when you need monochromatic papers but don’t want to use regular cardstock.

I love to combine ColorWays Collections, as I did in this layout; I used Gatsby and Sapphire to scrap this funny San Diego picture—it was so much fun taking it, and we also received a round of applause for it!

Here you can see how I used the amazing puffy and Sculpted™ stickers:

giorgia3

I love to mix up different stickers; what I love most about Paper House products is that you can easily combine all of them! Here I used canvas, cardstock, and Sculpted™ stickers.

giorgia4

distressed all the papers to add texture to my LO and added a cardstock sticker with a quote that was just perfect for my picture:

Paper House Product Used:

Nautical Paper Crafting Kit
Delish Cardstock Stickers
Lake Life Cardstock Stickers
Nautical Cardstock Stickers
ColorWays Sapphire Dahlia Paper
New York City Cardstock Stickers
Celestial Canvas Art Stickers
ColorWays Gatsby Edgings Paper
Savor Sculpted™ Stickers
Discover Sculpted™ Stickers
Love Sculpted™ Stickers
Explore Puffy Stickers
Enjoy Puffy Stickers

I hope you liked my project and that you will take a look at the amazing ColorWays!

Here are the step-by-step instructions to make this project:

- The background is the ColorWays Sapphire Dahlia paper.

- Create layers. Take a paper from the Nautical kit and the Gatsby Edgings paper, cut some rectangles, distress them, and glue them as shown in the center of the background paper.

- Add the quote sticker. It was too long, so I cut it to the right size to fit my layers. I cut it into a banner shape.

- Embellish the layout with stickers. I created a cluster in the bottom left corner... I love to create clusters of stickers!

- Add the Love puffy sticker overlapping a little bit of the picture.

- Your layout is ready!

These are other layouts I made combining different ColorWays; as you can see, you have endless possibilities when using them!

Viva Las Vegas!

Posted on Nov 9, 2015 9:21:23 AM

Hello, crafty friends, Giorgia here. Today I have a front/back layout to show you how beautiful and useful Paper House travel products are. You can find many countries and great accents. Come with me to Las Vegas!

Viva Las Vegas- Giorgia Rossini

This is me on the top of Stratosphere. For me, Las Vegas is light, glitter, gold, and fun, and I tried to put it all in my layout:

In the new Paper Crafting Kits, there are two different sets of alphas, just perfect to create titles:

Viva Las Vegas- Giorgia Rossini

For journaling, I used a diecut tag and added a cardstock sticker:

Viva Las Vegas- Giorgia Rossini

Product Used:

Paper House Impressions 6'' Paper Pad
Paper House Great American Cities Paper Pad
Paper House ColorWays Gatsby Accent Pack
Paper House ColorWays Rouge Accent Pack
Paper House Night Out Paper Pad
Paper House Enjoy Puffy Stickers
Paper House Las Vegas 3D Stickers
Paper House Delish Cardstock Stickers
Paper House ColorWays Noir Paper Pack
Other: staples, washi tape, border punch, red cardstock

Step by Step - Front:

1. The background paper is a paper from the Great American Cities pad.

2. I layered my biggest picture with a paper from the Night Out pad and glued it on the background.

3. I created banners from a Night Out paper and a ColorWays Sapphire Bokeh paper, added the mattes to my small pictures, and glued everything down.

4. I added stickers as shown. I love adding them directly on pictures, as I did with the "Fun" puffy sticker.

5. I glued the diecut from the Gatsby Accent Pack to the top of my biggest picture and added a dew drop in the center.

6. I added a dew drop next to the star stickers and the other little circular diecut.

7. The layout is ready.

Step by Step - Back:

1. The background paper is a paper from the Great American Cities pad.

2. I added a strip of washi to cover the right side of the paper, then another smaller strip of washi, torn by hand.

3. I created layers for my pictures. I used a border punch to create some visual interest and used staples to keep them in place.

4. I glued everything down and added 3D Stickers and the diecut on my pictures.

5. I created a custom journal tag using a diecut from the Rouge Accent Pack and adhered a cardstock sticker from the Delish cardstock sticker sheet to it. I attached my tag using foam tape to create dimension.

6. I adhered the gold diecut to the left side.

7. I created my title using alpha stickers from the Delish cardstock sticker sheet and added the "enjoy" and arrow puffy stickers.

8. The layout is ready.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope to have inspired you. Have a good day!

Adventure

Posted on Oct 22, 2015 9:00:00 AM

Hello! Francesca here!

Today I want to show you my new layout! I used the papers from the new ColorWays Gatsby Collection and followed a sketch from PageMaps. This gold and yellow collection is great; it can be sophisticated and cheerful at the same time!

I like to reinterpret the sketch; I think it's an intriguing challenge, and so I used my beloved embossing paste and two stencils to create a background. Then I added some diecuts on the left side of the picture and a rub-on over the tab. It's simple, but it lets the colors speak for themselves; they really add a lot of fun!

Alaska

Posted on Oct 15, 2015 9:30:58 AM

Hello, Susie here! I checked an item off my bucket list this summer with a cruise to Alaska! Before I even left town, I knew I would be using the Alaska Collection from Paper House to scrapbook my adventures!

Our very first excursion was to the Saxman Indian Village outside of Ketchikan. The beautifully painted clan house and the standing totems were amazing!

Alaska Layout- Susie Bentz

The design of this layout is a very simple collage in the center of the page with a tag tucked behind for hidden journaling. The Alaska 2 Cardstock Stickers provided most of my embellishments on this layout...

...although I did use one sticker from the 3D Sticker set.

Clean, simple, and easy to pull together, thanks to the coordinated collection from Paper House!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find some time to play today!
